TCU: a ranked program already beating us at recruiting
UNT: endless availability of academic exemptions/partial qualifiers etc, now they have Todd Dodge to play for
Rice: Todd Graham pillaging our commits as we speak
Tulsa: Remember the Dallas Skyline DT that asked PB if he remembered him?
Houston: Well, don't have to worry about them...they get National recruits who transfer from other D1 schools.
Subtract from that the BCS schools, and SMU is left with...umm...well, a lot of recruiting bios that say, "...chose SMU over Northwestern St., Stephen F. Austin, Louisiana-Monroe, Northern Arizona and NM State....was an honorable mention all-district pick..."
Overly pessimistic? Thoughts?

"In Dallas we hand a handfull of diamonds and we had some poo poo. When you mixed the diamonds with the poo poo, the diamonds started looking like poo poo too."
Greatest quote ever! Which part of SMU is the Diamond and which is the poo poo?

Emmitt Smith said it his last season in Dallas. The Ticket still uses it as a drop all the time and it never gets old.
My all-time favorite is Darren Hambrick's, "What do involuntary mean?"

It was "What do voluntary mean?"

just hope ntsu doesn't snatch the Ticket contract away from SMU. Rich Phillips went to ntsu, as did JubJub and junior.
We are losing market share people!

Can we please stop the sky is falling crap. It was a great day for North Texas Teachers State College of Denton, but people please just take a deep breath.
We'll be fine. And if not, we'll hire somebody else in 2007.
