Was by the football office yesterday....

Post by Stampede »

and looked at the old pictures of the football teams dating to 1976. Ron Meyer's first year, 1976, the Mustangs record was 3 - 8. the following record for subsequent years: 1977 4/6/1
1978 6/5
1979 8/3
1980 10/0/1

See a trend here.... Bennett and his staff have it going and let's win some games this fall!!!

The slush fund was really gaining beneficiaries in the late 70's, so that explains some of it.

I really like what Bennett represents and know he is doing everything to turn this baby around.

Meyer's climb was a little slower; we did pay a lot of money for the players; TV wasn't the variable it is now...

...all that said, I think Ron did a great job, and so will Coach Bennett.

CPC does not understand, what does that have to do with Baylor?
Some will tell you that a glass is half empty, and others that the same glass is half full. But all CPC really wants to know is...... does the drink taste good?
