Interesting...

Top 50 team stats:
Steals/GM #44

Bottom 50 team stats:
Scoring #282
FT % #324
TO/GM #317

Top 100 Players
Ryan Wall #70 FT% (with such a terrible team stat you know who not to foul)
Parker #11 Blocks/GM (should be interesting to see how he does vs. our big men.) 8)

UTA, while not that great has a stud in Jermaine Griffin who is #1 in FG % and #38 in blocks per game.

I don't put a whole lot of stock in the they beat this team by that, we beat that same team by this scenario. But looking at their whole schudule to this point, they don't seem to be all that impressive. Granted, road wins vs rivals are always tough in college hoops, so this will still be a challenge for us.

DATE OPPONENT RESULT/TIME
11/11 Centenary W 72-66
11/14 S F Austin W 59-53
11/18 Tex Arlngtn W 97-89
11/21 at St Mary's L 74-53
11/24 Gram St W 64-46
11/29 Texas Tech L 70-60
12/02 at Oklahoma L 63-35
12/06 at Texas-SA W 62-46
12/09 Tulane W 53-51
12/18 Ark-PB W 73-57

So far, we beat the teams we should have and we lost to the teams we should have (better than last year). We are average at best and we can't shoot FTs. It's embarassing how bad we are from the line. I would be (pleasantly) surprised if we beat SMU this year. Any road win is big but we're not very good and you should be worried if you don't beat us relatively handily.
