This might be old news but I was reading on Texas hoops than Justin Wilkerson is transferring from Texas Tech. Redshirted last year and wants to play closer to home which is Greenville.

I have a friend who coached him at Greenville and I saw him play a few times. Heâ€™s a 6â€™8â€ perimeter player with a nice shot, but not the kind of guy who will mix it up in the paint. Iâ€™m not surprised he didnâ€™t work out under Knight.

I don't know if he has any interest in smu. But i don't think i would be quite so quick to dismiss him as a player,still young and needs to bulk up some, but does have some game.

nothing wrong with a big man that can stroke from the outside: see Nowitzki, Dirk.

The isue is whether or not he fits our system, and would be interested in SMU
