Wow! G.J. Kinne

decommits from father's alma mater who is an assistant at Baylor to commit to UT. I think Baylor's Class is crumbling like none in recent memory, BUT to their credit they are still are recruiting some quality players to replace those who have done elsewhere. This is just an estimate but I believe at least 6 major recruits have decommitted from Baylor. Still the best Baylor class in years with 12-13 or so 3 star recruits. Interesting to see if SMU can snag Justin Johnson from Richardson Berkner. Think he is also looking aroung at UH, SMU, Tulsa and probably others.

...probably his Dad didn't give him what he wanted for Christmas. That's why I gave my son a Play Station 3, a Weii and an SMU Football Jersey so he can one day lead the Mustangs to the promised land. I'd definitely cut off his allowance

Would love to see the Ponies land Justin Johnson, and that other Berkner guy (DT Adrian Campbell), if he hasn't already committed elsewhere. What the hell, let's go poach a few more of of those Wack-Os headed to Waco.

For those wondering, Campbell's a 3-star 5.5 6'6 255 with offers from Colo. State, Arkansas, Houston, Kansas, Michigan State, and Arizona. No mention of our beloved Ponies (yet)

Ya think this kid suspects that his father might be unemployed soon? Sounds like it to me. If I were a Baylor coach, I'd be hitting the sauce, too!

I believe this was his dad's first year there. Might be his last if Kinne goes to UT.

1. Baylor is the lowest rung of the Big 12-kids that want to guarantee a Big 12 opportunity may commit to Baylor until a "bigger better deal" comes along;

2. disappointing finish to last season after QB got hurt. Remember Baylor won 3 straight Big 12 games against the Big 12 North. 3-0 best record of any school in the conference I believe so they can claim Big 12 North Championship. The early momentum from last year has evaporated;

3. there is now some real doubt whether morris survives next year-my personal opinion is that he is doing a helluva a job-some Baylor fans don't realize what a [deleted] job that is in comparison to the rest of the teams in Big 12 South. Guy Morris is the only Baylor coach to put a competitive product on the field. Its going to take any Baylor Coach a long long time to bridge that huge gulf. I think its about 3X more difficult than the SMU job where there is no dominant program in the entire conference.

4. The bitchfest about Friends of Baylor goes back about 5 years and its really dividing the Baylor community. If Morris is recruiting based on promises of new football facilities and his future tenure then recruits question Baylor's commitment if the administration doesn't follow through. My personal opinion is that Baylor is crazy for not giving Morris an extension. He has 2 years left. I'm sure there are Baylor fans too who are mystified why Baylor still hasn't gone to a Bowl under Morris. They people are idiots.

Careful. He might ask you for a TransAm, too. ;)
