Friends, that one stung a little, but our men came back as I watched in disbelief. I commend them, and have a renewed hope for at least a mediocre season. Good night all!

Decent look about 14 ft. Had to hurry too much with just 1.8 to go. Should have shot with about 4 seconds. The announcers said, however that the SMU player with the ball when it was "knocked" out of bounds, actually dribbled it off of his leg out of bounds and it should have been USM's ball. We got a break that we did not take advantage of.

Thanks, sounds like we should have won that one, and we could have with a bit of luck.
Tough to come back from a first half like that, but I like the effort.

We would have won with a bad first half. Just could not do it with an atrocious first half.

We looked like zombies in the 1st half - that was truly pathetic. Looked lethargic, asleep, no hustle, nothing - how can you come out like that?

BUT, nice comeback. So Miss looked like we did in the 1st half.

Very poor execution down the stretch - really poor decisions by Killen. I wish we had one player who could create his own shot. Our inbound plays need a cutter up the middle. Not a good look out of a timeout.

Too bad, that would have been a great way to start w/ the comeback.

i wouldn't say southern miss was as bad as were in the first half.. we missed around 10 shots w/in 5 ft of the basket.. our defense in the first half was just horrible, absolutely pathetic.. Are yall sure Devon wasn't sick the 1st half... boy he was a different player in the second...

wow what a second half, i wish our offense wasn't so reliant on the three pointer but when we needed to make a comeback we did by getting the ball inside and getting easier buckets which opened up the 3..

Bamba should have moved into the top 5 all time for blocks tonight.. i believe his 5 or 6 tonight put him in the low 90's and I predict he will easiy break Koncaks record. could do it by the end of his jr season.. AWESOME!

Last year, we'd have lost that game by 50.

I agree, this team was down by 21 in the second half, and played their arses off!

You two need to settle down and realize we just lost to a team at home that we were favored to beat by 10. It was a nice comeback with the same outcome of way too many games.

In case you forgot, we beat S. Miss at home last year.

We may be lacking in some skills but we definitely showed some heart tonight. And Doh is coaching lights out.

Hey guys, consider this the same as a loss to Rice in football. You guys wanted Coach Bennett's head on a platter. We lost to a team we should have beaten. Nice comeback, but no excuses are acceptable.
