We've been pushing the state of the art in every facet of this design. We've got the multi-touch screen, miniaturization, OS X in a mobile device, precision enclosures, three advanced sensors, desktop class applications, and the widescreen video iPod. We filed for over 200 patents for all the inventions in iPhone and we intend to protect them."

I haven't been this excited about a gadget in a while, and I'm not a techno geek or a Mac Head... I will be getting one.

I actually have beta-tested one.
It rocks, defiantly worth the buy.

Does it have any PDA capabilities? Can I easily keep my schedule, appointments and tasks in it as well as everything else?
The donkey's name is Kiki.
On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Yes, it is basically a desktop that is smaller than most cell phones. PDA's as we know them don't compare.

As a "mac-guy" and former apple employee, i'm definitely excited
I'm with Verizon now, but I'll be cancelling and switching to Cingular come June.

Is the phone going to be Cingular usage only?
If so, can someone tell me a good way to get out of my T-mobile contract?

I heard it costs 500 bucks. Is that true? If so, that's too rich for my blood.

4GB = $500
8GB = $600
The name "iphone" was trademarked years ago by a company that Cisco bought in the 2000's. They are suing, so stay tuned, the object of our collective affection may have a new name.

Dollars to doughnuts holes, it'll get settled within the next week. Apple has no legal hold to the name.

Ever since Apple came out with the new colored screen iPod a couple years ago, i figured they'd come out with an iPhone years later.
I already dropped $700 on a ps3 so I guess I better start saving if I am going to get this iPhone.

Beta-tested one...and you live in Langley...are you CIA, defense contractor, or tech company?
