Sorry, I just see the "you had only 480 yards while we had 370" and "we weren't losing as bad with 7 minutes to go as we did in the end" as pathetic arguments.
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

yea, I just said they didn't dominate us last year and they didn't. It hard to take too much crap from Tech because we have more history than they do and SMU competed very well against them pre-DP. Other than having a big enrollment, they never earned their way into the Big 12 either. Their facility upgrades came AFTER the Big 12 windfall they got and while they were respectable on the field, nobody would have cared a lick north of the Red River had they been left out of the SWC/Big 8 merger.

Dude, are you an idiot? The Border Intercollegiate conference? You're proud of winning the 1942 championship with a 4-5-1 record? Bwhahahahahaha, all day long. When you were going 4-5-1 in the Border league, SMU was going to the Rose Bowl (1935) and winning Heisman trophies (1948).

Border Intercollegiate Athletic Association? Wasn't St. Mary's and Hardin-Simmons in that? I think Dallas Jesuit High School won that conference twice, too.

By the way, the conference winner in 1994 was A&M, but they were on probation. Tech tied with SIX schools for second place. I also see that one of Tech's "conference titles" was accomplished with a losing record (1951).

Hate to break this to you, but the 1994 SWC Champion was 10-0-1 Texas A&M.

Ya, that 1935 season was a real special one. Wins over North Texas, Austin College, Tulsa, Rice, Hardon-Simmons, and Baylor. That schedule was a doosey. How did the Rose Bowl turn out??

Oh wait I remember that one, that is one in which SMU was going for an undefeated season on CHOKED right here in Cali. How could I forget such an infamous choke job.

Last I checked teams on probation couldnt win Conference Championships.

By the way, I just found the stats on Trent Stephenson. He was 9-14 on PAT's.

So let me get this straight - according to your post - in the last half century (thats 50 years for you Techies) - other then the championship the Aggies really won, you guys tied with someone to win the "Co-Championship" once? Congrats - you just made the case for Tech being underachievers and stuck in the middle of the pack forever.

Well you would be wrong; ATM couldn't go to the Cotton Bowl, but they will always be recognized as the SWC Champion.

I'd like to send congrats to Tech on making it to the third tier this year...

... To be held in the same esteem as Wayne State University, Andrews University, the University of La Verne, and Widener University is truly something to be proud of.

Now get those cute little fingers up in the air and make the "pow-pow" sound.

Wasn't that the year the championship was split like 5 ways because aTm was on probation?

That's not exactly earning the title.
