...he just won't say which team it is until signing date. He visited SMU, Kansas and Wyoming and will cancel a trip to Vandy.I'm not sure. He says the School is not too far away from home which would seem to eliminate Wyoming but also said he actually committed a couple of weeks ago before SMU visit.

Based on the visit schedule you posted for him awhile back, this would appear to be a good thing for SMU - considering we were his most recent visit. Has he cancelled his visit to Vandy set for next week? Did he ever say anything about his visit to Wyoming - other than Laramie is awful?
Would be a great pick up.

actually he had to canel that Kansas trip scheduled for 12/08 because of a conflict but said he definitely wanted to visit Kansas in an interview about 2 weeks ago. My guess is the Jayhawks.

Even before visiting KU you think he is committing there? Any word on his scheduling for a visit to Kansas? My guess would be this weekend given the gap in his visit schedule you posted previously, but find it odd you would think he would be sold on KU before visiting. You do read more of this stuff than I do, but I'm hoping you are wrong.

well I have access to Rivals and about 2 weeks ago he made 4 separate comments something to the effect that he very interested in Kansas, he would love to reschedule that Kansas trip and he definitely wanted to rescehule. Then he kinda dismissed the offers he had from schools like SMU and Vandy. These kids go to so many camps, mini-camps and unofficial visits that its likely he has already visited KU anyway. There are about 15 Rivals reports on Bailey most make very complimentary comments about Kansas and their recruitor Tim Beck. SMU came on very late with Bailey and comments about SMU don't seem to be as complimentary and only appear in the last report-may be because he wasn't speaking to an SMU correspondent. Hope I'm wrong.

How long does Rivals say that SMU has been on him?

Then I guess there is no way we have any chance with this player. Too bad for us.

That's the spirit.
What the hell, people? SMU has been after this guy for a long time, or at least there's been some serious interest each way for a long time, and SMU is the best academic school on his list. Since he had Vanderbilt on his list for a while, I'm guessing that academics DO matter to this guy and/or his family, and if that's the case, we're right there in the running. Will we get him? I don't know, either. But let's not write ourselves off just because of a rivals report. I won't believe we have him -- or that we don't -- until there's an official report.

My comment was purely a dig at stallion. He continues to rely on Rivals for his "news" and opinions.

My source tells me that we have two commitments that haven't been disclosed yet. Bailey isn't one of them.

My sources tell me that we have 10 5-star recruits coming in.
What is the point of saying that and then not telling us who?

Let me clarify-I have absolutely no idea. Just educated speculation from about 15 Rivals reports which I was asked to give. I said I hope I'm wrong.

I was sworn to secrecy, but will tell you that one is a 6-0" lineman who weighs 280-290 and runs a 5.0 forty. Graduated in LAST years class. The other is a DB who runs a 4.4 forty. All stats per Rivals. Neither is rated by Rivals, however, so the coaches may want to keep the names to themselves to prevent competition and I'm not going to blow that for them if they are.

So Mustangnation who are YOUR recruits and what other worthless information have you ever brought to this board?
