seriously doubt he will ever play TE at SMU. He was the weakest TE out of 41 tested at the Rivals camp. Tied with about 10 guys for No. 332 out of 352 athletes at all positions in the bench press with 6. 3rd among TEs in the Shuttle out of 36 TEs but at 200 he shouldn't even really test at that position. Vertical Leap of 29-didn't run the Forty. I think he caught 41 passes for 586 yards and 14.3 ypc and 8 TD. Rated Two stars 5.2

The Kappas at SMU stole me away from the Chi O's at USC.

Before Mack Brown, the top commits used to wait all the way up to signing day before committing. Now I'm not so sure. One thing appears evident, if the kid didn't go through one of Bennett's camps, he probably isn't going to get signed by us!

Anyone who remembers what Boise State did to us with their TEs flexed out wide likely will agree that if nothing else, the BSU staff can identify TE candidates who can run and who can catch. Stick this guy in the weight room, feed him 10 times a day, and watch him grow. That Boise State offer is a ringing endorsement for this guy, as far as I'm concerned.
