Mixed emotions about Houston game yesterday

I just happened to be in Houston with Mrs. RGV and littlest RGV for...ahem...the Doodlebops. Long afternoon. Did the children's museum & the fish exhibit at Landry's Aquarium. Back to the hotel & in the back of my head, I remember the Ponies play tonight. Hmmm...now who was it they were playing? Dammit!! Dammit!! The game started 15 minutes ago!

So, end result and a question for all of you. On the one hand, I'm glad I didn't get to be pissed off at a first half like that in person. On the other hand, I'm somewhat ashamed at my status of a Mustang fan, not putting one and one together and having the weekend plans coincide with the bball game. Stroke of luck? Or bad Pony fan?

I was late because I had a conference that ran 30 minutes over the schedule, but was there for the 2nd half, which we actually won. I say you're a good fan, if a forgetful one.
