Get good in sports is one plan, but how does the ticket sales director implement that?MrMustang1965 wrote: working with the marketing staff to plan and set goals that will increase tickets sales yearly;

Most places think the key is in group sales. e.g. "Moody Coliseum welcomes the jtstang fan club, in section AA," or "be sure not to miss TTLA night at Ford brought to you by Stallion"jtstang wrote:Get good in sports is one plan, but how does the ticket sales director implement that?MrMustang1965 wrote: working with the marketing staff to plan and set goals that will increase tickets sales yearly;

Hopefully for budget concerns they will merge it with the Surf manager. They do not need both. Surf and Turf has long proven a good combination.MustangStealth wrote:Ooooohhh.... look what else it says:

I wonder what it takes to be the Turf manager? I can handle the mowing and painting if that's it.

If the former Turf Manager is who I think it was, I cannot be more happy that a-hole is gone.MustangStealth wrote:Ooooohhh.... look what else it says:

Is it the same guy who lost us the soccer Final Four because we couldn't keep grass growing in Ford? (or keep it from catching on fire?)
Or is it the guy who never wants to host high school playoff games at Ford because it might mean extra work for him?
Or maybe it's the guy who screwed up the orginal Ford plans, forcing both teams to enter and exit from the same tunnel. And having the visitors walk through a maze of hallways and then up a flight of stairs to get to their locker room (real impressive for a stadium built this decade).
If it's that guy, I'm glad he's gone. And I hope he has NOTHING to do with the Moody renovations and the new hoops practice facility.

There was a rather attractive blond who walked the sidelines prior to games with a "staff" jacket or badge on and always had a clipboard. Cute, girl...probably late 20s, tan, bottle blond. Usually had khakis and short-sleeved polo.
Who is that? Is she part of this department?

No, that is genius. In fact, the visitor's locker room should take about 6 and a half minutes to walk to so they immediately have to turn around and go back out with no time for a pep talk. Can we possibly move it to the Mrs. Baird's plant?Longtime wrote:And having the visitors walk through a maze of hallways and then up a flight of stairs to get to their locker room (real impressive for a stadium built this decade).
I don't see why a turf manager would...Longtime wrote:And I hope he has NOTHING to do with the Moody renovations and the new hoops practice facility.
