Nyakundi in DMN...Full page article on Arlington Bowie in Thursday's Sportsday page 7 and a big picture of Nyakundi in practice. Nyakundi is quoted twice in the article discussing his team and their prospects. He leads the team in scoring averaging 16.8 points per game and rebounding averaging 9.6 per game.

I can't believe that none of our resident experts, have any scoop on our new players. By the way, Nyakundi only had 10 points in last nights loss. I would have to agree with the previous post, that we should be hoping our new recruits are dominating from game to game. I am not sure that is the case though.
I'm not sure Mike Walker is getting much playing time because a superstar University of Washington recruit (Isiah Thomas) a Top 75 player who transferred to his prep school and every time I check he is lighting it up. Walker did score 11 against an overmatched Army Prep school that got blown out. It 's hard to get info on Dia because they have about 2 other big men too. Actually South Kent recently lost 3 in a row and there was no mention of Dia at all.
I got a little more info. Papa Dia missed an undetermined number of games-returning on Januay 4th in a game he had 10 points, 9 rebounds and 5 blocks, I've seen no mention of him since but game reports are spotty-it appears they only do game stories for home games at his Prep School website.
Wow thats not good. You would want Walker to be getting as much experience as possible. You also hope your recruits go deep into the playoffs, for additional practice time and game experience. It seems like a couple of our guys are on fair to spare teams.
South Kent is one of the nation's top teams and has 8-10 college prospects... a crazy amount of talent. If Walker isn't getting full time, it's not necessarily a bad reflection on his skill level.
