Robert Lineburg

Former longtime assistant coach and interim head coach Robert Lineburg is in the running for the opening at Radford. The article says that he still lives in Dallas and is working in comercial real estate. I saw him at Moody at one of our game this year and wish him the best. I thought he did an outstanding job taking over a team in serious turmoil.

He's been at a lot of our games, and you're right, he did a terrific job when he took over. He's a very good coach, and a great man. Good luck, Coach!

Agree with DickerJames that he became a leader at a desperate time and did well. Believe that anyone who has followed the SMU program would wish him the best. Hope he gets back in to coaching and has a chance to lead a team.

He was working with one of the Mavs summer league teams during the summer (obviously) so it's definitely possible.

yes, Tubbs is in Ft Worth assisting with the Flyers. there are only 2 coaches max per team in the NBDL and the Flyers have Moncrief and Mokeski so it must be on a volunteer basis...

I went tonight and saw him there too, kinda good to see him. He sits behind the bench on the first row and takes notes on the game
Dallas Mavericks - 2011 NBA CHAMPIONS!
