Eddie Morgan, McKinney High School, 18 TDs and 86 tackles. New coach at Stanford, Jim Harbaugh, came in and dumped him.

Had verbally committed over TCU, Duke and Air Force.

Now doesn't know what he'll do. Not a lot of time. Dad is not happy.

Anyone close enough to the coaches to get ahold of one of them?

Seeing as how rivals has a picture of him in Ford Stadium, I'm guessing that means he was at their camp at SMU.

That was before he got shafted though, right?

just about every Texas player in Rivals has a picture at Ford Stadium-but that was not an SMU camp. It was a Rivals/Nike camp.

Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but isn't that what he meant?

Was the SAT score of 1507 the old 2 part test or the new 3 part one?

While 1507 would be amazing on a 1600 scale, I think his score would be fine on the 2400 scale too right? Assuming he had approximately an even breakdown between the 3 sections he would still be right around 1000 on a 1600 scale. That should be no problem for any SMU athlete although not sure if that cuts it at Stanford or not.

A score of 500 per section would not get you into SMU today unless you have something really big to offer like Daddy is a gazillionaire who is ready to part with some bucks, you are George W's nephew, or you are an athlete with skills we desperately need...........It probably keeps you out of Stanford - unless you are Reggie Bush........750 per section gets you into almost anywhere..............
