This was a huge win. I thought we would beat Tulsa for some reason, and when that didn't happen, it looked like an 0-3 road trip was looming.

any road win is a good win. this was a good one, but this is not the caliber team uab has had the past few years. I cant believe they were 11-9 and 3-3 in CUSA prior to losing to us tonight. Interesting coaching matchup with Mike Davis vs. Matt Doherty. I'm just thankful the DMN did not do a cover story about "how far they have fallen". Way to go Bamba and company.

The CUSA is full of coaches that didn't make it in the big leagues for whatever reason: Penders, Davis, Doherty, Eustachy

Agreed on any road win being a good one. While UAB is not as good as they have been in the past, they did play Florida tight (lost by 5) and have a decent record with a much stronger schedule than we have played.

Huge win for the Mustangs, for confidence reasons if nothing else.

Really enjoyed listening to that game yesterday...too bad it wasn't on all access.

Great job by Bamba and Epps. I think the team is improving every game and by CUSA tournament time we may be ready to go a bit further than we have in years, would love to see us make it to the final 4.....in Memphis

Whoa there nellie. Very happy about our win but I'd like to pass the 4 conference win mark before we start hoping for or expecting any CUSA tourney success, much less final 4 in the CUSA tourney.
