Memphis Game

Anybody else planning on attending the game tomorrow? Hoping for a little SMU support out here in Memphis - last year I think there may have been 10 SMU fans out of about 15K.

I was thinking about driving over but decided not to due to it being on tv and family responsabilities. Its a about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Little Rock.

I was hoping we could have a 10% increase in fans at the game and reach 11 this year...

..I will be there, front row seats, center court...it is my plan to be as obnoxiously fanatical (PonyFan style) as humanly possible, thinkng about doing some sort of DiamondM imitation throughout the 1st half...last year we covered the spread and denied "free tacos"..I am hoping for a better performance this year, that 18-2 start was pitiful...some "ding dong" Memphis State / Ole Miss "combo fan" was giving us heck during the run, my 19 year daughter, noticing his balding dome began a "hair club" chant, really shut the guy up = priceless, unfortunately, that was the highlight of the game, other than my speech to Bamba in the hallway before he went out for the second half....11 a.m tip, maybe Memphis High will still be asleep from their drug induced Snoop Dog party from tonight...who knows....Long LIve Phil Hale.

when we're up by 25 points, i want you to ask yourself...if we're a high school, what would that make SMU?

A little sensitive aren't you? We all highly value our SMU degrees. An SMU degree actually means something, no matter how many fans we get to our games.

nah the game's not gonna be ugly, we're 19 point underdogs but im feelin a new high for smu basketball...were upsetting memphis at their place tomorrow afternoon
