Dez looks like he's been working on his shot. Nice looking setup..

Let's see if SMU can force Memphis to make a point which isn't on a dunk or layup.

Memphis just hit a 3 from long range. They are good from in or out. Rack is getting good rebounds under the basket. This might the best passing I have seen from us all year. No To's yet I don't think.

Looking pretty good so far, but can't keep giving them the 2nd, 3rd and 4th opportunities if we're gonna keep this respectable.

Without Doherty, I don't think we get this game on ESPN.

Man, because of time constraints, I haven't been to a game this year (job/classes/LOTS OF HOMEWORK), so this is the first time I've seen them play and damn....Memphis is just much more physically strong. They're faster, have more athleticism and can hit shot after shot. Not to mention that press is killing SMU. SMU plays decent D, but they're giving up way too many second chance points.
Is it true that when Coach D gets his own recruits in here, we'll be better? After I graduate I will plan on buying SMU Football season tix and go to a few ball games. Looks like Memphis is about to blow this one out.

That was inevitable, just a matter of when. They move very well, shoot well, have good big men, rebound, ....all the things we don't have the talent to do..

We've missed 2 super easy long pass layups.

We all hope so.....unfortunately, there has not been a new coach in football and basketball in the last 20 years that has turned either program around. Hopefully Doh will stop that trend!
