Last year, we would have been down by 40 at the half.

That Mack guy is shooting lights out and every other score for them is a lay-up or dunk. I wasn't expecting much and think we've handled the press better then I thought we would, but their depth is just way too much to overcome.

I think all of their 3-point shooters are shooting lights out, Memphis is not only the class of C-USA, they could probably hold their own in the ACC or SEC right now

One of the selling points is that they can come contribute right away.

The first 15 minutes were great, running the shot clock down, and not getting into an up and down game with them. Down 20 at the half, we do not want to get beat by 35 or 40.

I've seen enough

Postby Sam I Am » Sat Feb 03, 2007 12:59 pm

This was national exposure that SMu didn't need, down by 20 at the half. I can't think of anything to say good about this half.

Isn't this usually the case when we are on national TV?

Isn't that the SMU mantra......"in a couple of years"....we've only been hearing that for the better part of the last 20 years..................

If I were a highschool player and saw this there is no way I would want to go to SMU. Even if there is a good class next year...with no athletes above them it is going to be rough again.

please. couldn't be any more feeble than this. by the way, smu did play at memphis last year, lost by about 20. certainly no worse than this performance.

"Give us another year or two" should take its rightful place at the top of Dallas Hall as the new school motto. Maybe we can add it in to our school songs.

We couldn't even cover the huge spread at the half.
