You should do stuff different! Be more and/or less like that mascot from that other school.

Not really, just didn't want the dude in the Peruna suit to feel left out when he gets on this board and finds the band and cheerleaders each have their own thread.

I think he needs to work harder at getting tossed from a game. Harass the refs a little, mock them, see if you can [deleted] them off. That is always entertaining.
The donkey's name is Kiki.

On a side note, anybody need a patent attorney?

Speaking of our Peruna guy. Did I see Peruna at the NHL All-Star rookie game? I saw a horse costume wearing an Islanders team jersey. Since I don't think there are many horses in Long Island, I thought perhaps he was there as a local mascot to help out in the festivites.

That was so cool when Peruna got thrown out of the game for taunting the ref.

If we're ahead by a few points, why not get thrown out. It might get SMU on SportsCenter.

We had a terrific Peruna 2 years ago (the pogo stick, walked on his hands, interacted with the crowd - all over the coliseum - greeted people as they entered the doors at Moody). Guess he graduated. He was the best one since the one who wore the ball-and-chain (Texas Stadium years). The Peruna now is blase, Milquetoast, wuss - like one of those high school mascots that does the cheers with the cheerleaders - where's our pizzazz?

Ball and chain? Refresh my memory, please!

During one of our many probations... no bowl game... I guess it was the year we couldn't go to the Cotton Bowl... Peruna wore a black & white striped prison uniform and cap with a ball-and-chain on his ankle. Wore it all season.
