Midway through first half, we're up 18-15. Brian Epps looking pretty good so far, hitting two 3's and taking a charge.

This team might have the fewest dunks of any college team in the last 30 years...nice to see 2 throw downs already tonight, now all we need is an alley oop, a la Hancock to Willie Davis.

34 - 28 at half. As usual, some sloppy turnovers and not much D inside, but to me, guys look like they're playing much more relaxed.

Our players are basketball dumb...Rack throws it right to the Rice defensive player with three seconds left and the guy has a clear path to the basket. Luckily he missed the jumper, but we make some STUPID mistakes.

The offense bogs down when Killen is in the game, I'm sure he's a great young man, but Doherty needs to bench him. We played pretty well on offensive in the first half when he was in foul trouble and on the bench.

Monster dunk by Ike and a jumper by Pearson puts us back up by 1 (50 - 49). Ike just got a double-double.

Yeah, I feel so much more comfortable when Dez is bringing up the ball. Fortunately Rice hasn't pressed much this game. We're down one (55-54) with about 3 minutes left.

Maybe Killen heard us talking smack, as he's coming up really big in the last couple minutes. Tied 60 - 60 with 1:30 left.

Good Lord! My All-Access just went out with 9.1 seconds left and us down by 3.
