OK, I want your personal opinions on something. I work with a guy who is diehard Mississippi state fan. He says that even though they finished the season with only 2 wins that they would blow the ponies out of the water any day of the week. I have argued with him for 2 hours now. Just want to see what you guys think

Tell him that his Bulldogs need to start playing CUSA's Mississippi representative instead of being chickensh!t and then come talk to SMU.

Is there a school that does less with as much talent at the disposal of Miss. State? Hell...SEC $$, SEC TV exposure, no academic standards to speak of, and centrally located amongst all kinds of 3, four and 5 star talent.

If Mississippi needed an enema, Starkesville is where it would go. They would likely beat us, but RGV is right, let them start by playing their own in state mate, Southern Miss and then talk smack.

Mississippi St. would beat SMU 9 out every 10 years at least. Heck we haven't even beaten Baylor or Tech yet and Rice owns us. There is nobody on our football team that was alive the last time SMU beat the lowly Rice Nitebirds in Houston-so how the hell is SMU supposed to go into Starkville and beat an SEC team-that's 5 losses right there. Might win 1 out 5 home games. Some of you live in a CUSA induced Nirvana

didnt you say in the other thread that they lost to tulane (whom we beat) so that beats that theory?? also we have a number of players who were alive last time we beat rice in houston... not sure how you manage to work that into every thread :lol:
