Re: TT daily
Be thankful that you don't have 24/7 non-stop Razorback news. Lance Armstrong wins his fifth Tour Da France and nothing is reported. But let one Razorback player improve in the weight room in the off-season and 3 pages are dedicated to Arkansas football. Houston Nutt is the next Bear Bryant and folks around here can’t understand why players don’t flock to Fayetteville for a chance to play in War Memorial Stadium.
And Lord help the Razorback fans, they seem to think that the "call" in the '82 game can be changed somehow. I do get a kick out of asking thenm what call they are talking about. I don't remember any bad calls against Ark ever!

The funny thing is that most of the folks in Lubbock would tell you the local paper is pretty anti-Tech, or at least anti-Leach. One of their senior editors (who used to be the lead sports columnist) wrote a scathing editorial calling for Leach to be fired.

...and go over to the TCU board and read them crying about the Startle-Gram----its universal---the problem is that us oldtimers grew up with writers who were born and bred in Texas and understood our rivalries, traditions and history. Now we are greeted with writers who grew up on BIG 10 Football and have no real allegiance to College Football-they see it as a stepingstone to write about the NFL some day.

Leach has some personal issues that may have caused that editorial. I'll leave it at that.
