Currently 7 players left on scholarship, might have 9 for the tourney. When Bamba had surgery, they said he would be back in 2-3 weeks, and that he was expected back for the tournament. Thats a really quick turnaround for a broken bone, but not impossible. Devon is day to day, if its a simple sprain he could be back next week. We wont know for a few days, though. Epps obviously wont be back.

There is no cut for the tourney. Top 4 get byes and 5 vs 12, 6 vs 11, 7 vs 10, and 8 vs 9 for the first round.

Mathematically, we're locked into 11th place right now. Memphis is the #1 seed, and East Carolina is 12th. Even if Carolina won their last 2 games, we won head-to-head, so we have the tie breaker. It's impossible for us to catch UTEP or Marshall, who both have 6 conference wins. Outside of those 3 spots, though, everything else is still up for grabs. Before this weekend, every team still had a shot at 2nd place except us and ECU, and every other team still has a shot at 3rd. No way to tell how it will shake out, until next Saturday.

We will play the #6 seed on Wednesday March 7th, most likely at 2:30pm Central if they follow the format of last year. Will be someone of the caliber of USM, UAB, Tulsa, Tulane most likely...whoever it is you figure we should be competitive and maybe make it past the first day.

No TV on the first day, although it should be on All-Access, all games after that will be on CSTV, with the championship on CBS.
