Justin Rogers

Postby SMUHOOPS » Wed Feb 28, 2007 1:10 pm

I heard that Justin Rogers ran a 4.53 and a 4.61 40 recently..can anyone confirm this? I know his pro day is today. Justin is a great, hardworking kid and i wish him the best of luck. He is a model student athlete who has changed this program since his start here on the hilltop. thank you Justin.

If that's true, that's incredible. 4.53 at his size?

That's extremely fast. It would make him faster than the projected first DE to be taken in the draft (Adams - Clemson, 4.64 40 time according to article on ESPN).

Good luck to Justin.

Good Luck Justin, but that is movin' for a man his size. What is he now, 255? 265?
Sports, and all that implies.

Everyone ran slow times -- running directly into the wind.
They should have run with the wind. They'd all get drafted!

yah the wind was rough, but the real difference is it was "pro" time which is always a lot slower then rivals times and such... not to mention a 4.7 would have put him in the top 8 at Combine

1. Greg Olsen Miami (Fla.) 4.51
2. Michael Allan Whitworth 4.71
3. Gijon Robinson Missouri Western St. 4.71

5. Derek Schouman Boise St. 4.74

Top 8 at TE? Are we talking about Rogers or Kennedy here? SOrry just a little confused and looking for clarification.

Too bad he wasn't at the Combine because the times weren't impacted by the weather since it was in the Indy dome!
