maybe someone who was there...but on the KAAM broadcast at one juncture after a shaky call Rich said, "perhaps you could hear the student chant there...but it was cut short when Coach Doherty gave them a look..."

I'm guessing perhaps they were giving the "bulls..." chant...Anyone see? At any rate, my point is..how powerful a coach is Doh? Most college kids do what they want, and to be silenced by a gesture...that's big time, IMO.

IMO it was the right chant, as that call was among the (many) questionable calls last night, but yes, Coach Doh put his hand up and basically said, "hey, STOP," and they stopped. I was impressed as well that (1) Doh told them to stop, and (2) that they actually did.

many many questionable calls last nite, at times absolutedly horrendous. as for the "bulls---" chant, u guys are right about what happened

I hate that chant. It is stupid, lame and uncreative. There are lots of fun creative biting ways to tell the ref he was wrong.
