All Access/TV for Wednesday?

Postby bagice » Mon Mar 05, 2007 12:18 pm

Last year the first round of the tournament was on All Access and we were able to watch SMU beat Rice on the computer. I don't see anything listed this year, however, can't imagine they would not offer it though.

Anyone have any inside scoop or idea if we can see the USM game on Wednesday either via computer or TV?

For the Tulsa and the Memphis games, CSTV decided to go to PPV and charge addtional in order to watch. I would believe they are going to do the same thing for the first round of the tourney although I am not sure. I have decided I will never sign up for CSTV again after this bait and switch method of soing business. CSTV says they consulted with SMU on this decision. SMU tells me that CSTV said "this is the way we are going to do it", and SMU had no option. I think it is a completely despicable way of doing business, but I guess they thought they would make millions of dollars by putting Tulsa/SMU on as PPV. I am sure the whole nation ponied up for that one. I will sign up for a specific game if necessary but they never again get my money up front.

After the first round, the games are on CSTV television and will not be available on ALL ACCESS if they keep true to form.

What a bummer. I discontinued my subscription just prior to the Tulsa game and upon hearing all this, I'm very glad that I did. You would think with all the technical difficulties and such that we dealt with all year, they would cut us a break.

I had planned on starting up again for football season, but highly doubt that I will now. Fortunately when we beat up on Tech on ESPN and also take down TCU, I think a lot more games will be picked-up for us to see!!! :D
