No matter what SMU's record is I always love when the conference tournament roles around....must be the fresh hope that comes with the "winner take all" format.
Both Bamba and Roberts should play today which should help. I also like the way Doherty has been able to make adjustments against teams the second time we play them.
Last time against USM afer a dismal first half we almost staged one of the biggest comebacks in school history but Roberts 13 footer grazed off the rim and we lost by 1.
I say SMU wins this one today and will give Houston all they can handle tomorrow....would really love another shot at Penders and those punks.
Ordered my pay per view and cutting out early today to watch the Ponies.

SMU wins by 9 tonight.
If we can follow that with a win over Houston, I will be one seriously happy camper. If overall talent was equal on every roster, is there any coach in America who couldn't out-coach Penders? I still remember Shumate nearly breaking that dude's hand in a post-game "handshake" - look on TP's face was priceless.
