Original post updated to reflect Javi Gonzalez to NC State. Also added some info on Dominique Tilford. Played 1 season at Cincy before transferring to JUCO. Anyone know if he ever saw the floor? Also rated the #82 JUCO prospect per CSTV. Fromer SMU player Brian Morris is #98 on the list. It was published in November of this year. http://www.cstv.com/sports/m-baskbl/sto ... 06acm.html

Tilford played in 22 games last year, averaged 7.2 points per game.

I dont know too many schools that want to touch Morris now, his reputation as an attitude problem is going to keep alot of teams away.

That post got me excited so I went to look him up. Yahoo lists him as getting 7.2 MINUTES per game averaging 2.5 pts. Not sure if thats what you meant or not. Still seems like good news that he was playing as a frosh at Cincy. Now with a year of JUCO experience too he might be a nice addition if we could land him.

Is it true that Morris was kicked off the team at his current JUCO school? If so that won't look so great on his hoops resume.

More info on Tillford. Was Kentucky's MR. Basketball his Senior season. Chose Cincy over Auburn, TCU and a few other schools. HoopScoop wasn't too high on him saying he projects no higher than a mid major player. Goes on to say even if he can hack it at this level (I assume they mean Cincy) he will be nothing more than a solid backup.

Right, 22 games, 7.2 Minutes per game. Sorry about the mix up.

Maybe I'm missing something but what's the source of this Tilford speculation?

Imagine that, Mustangmaniacs missing a scoop. From what I am being told it will be shut down soon.

Probably because they haven't reported on the upcoming uniform changes. Across the board. All sports. New look. New style. Still trying to get some details, but that's the rumor, anyway.

I think that there might be a new Mustang. According to Tomasz Kwiatkowski's Facebook, which is a college version of myspace, he says that he is part of SMU's class of 2011

It was announced at the Little Rock Mustang Club gathering that Doherty had announced on his radio show last Monday night that he had gotten some tall recruit. I have not heard anything mentioned here, so maybe that is it.
