Just wait. You'll hit 50 and either get a new wife or a new car. Trust me, the new car is cheaper than a new wife.

So it's better not to make it at all?
Didn't say that. I just don't think it's a big deal.

Well the if you're going to be in a small conference, like the Horizon league, or the WCC, or whichever league doesn't have a D1 football team, basketball gets more competitive and more exciting. Just watching these small teams play to packed houses in their tourneys and get all excited about going to the tourney almost makes me wish we played in a league like that.
BUT, if we were like that, we'd get a 15 or 16 seed, get bounced in the first round and nobody will remember that team. So i'd rather be in our current league, and work to improving on our record and maybe winning our tourney too, or getting good enough to where we can be 20-10 in the regular season and still sneak in.

It would be for us.
But I guess at the end of the day, somebody had to win the Sunbelt. It's nice that Turner had the good sense and influence to singlehandedly blackball NTSU from membership in C-USA.

Yeah, I'd hate for NT to spank you as a conference mate. For now it's just as a local school to show you how it should be done in football AND basketball.

Look sunbelter, somebody from your camp really needs to explain why SMU is always at fault for NTSU not getting into a better conference. And the explanation better start with "Since we obviously could not get in a better conference on our own merits..."
What a bunch of whiney-@ss losers.

Let's not forget that the whiney [deleted] losers are tournament bound and kicked your [deleted] 24-6 last season in football. The big bad CUSA Mustangs will get owned again this season. Now run along and tell Muffy how "next year" will be different.

Yes, and then me and Muffy will discuss how the poor pitiful little NTSUers could not get into a better conference on their own merits. Rock that sunbelt.

You can't talk sports (wisely so) so you cling to your conference affiliation? Nice to see you acknowledge your place in the world. You're the Baylor of CUSA. "I'm going to prom with the head cheerleader. Really? No, not really, actually my big brother is...but she has an uglier little sister and I'm tagging along." hahahaha

Tell us again about the series between the two schools?
"You can't talk sports (wisely so) so you cling ...."
Huh? Can't talk sports WISELY SO?
Good one. Way to put jtstang and his legal practice in his place -- baffle him with non-English! How clever!
