this Saturday, who are some of the players who have stepped up this spring ?

What I was interested in knowing about was how many Red Shirt Freshmen have stepped up and are working with the first/second off. and def.units ?

From what I've seen at practice, the redshirt freshmen who have caught my non-coach's eye include: CB Tim Crosby, DT Mickey Dollens, LB Anthony Sowe, LB Taylor Bon, LB Patrick Strodtman (I guess he's not technically a redshirt, since he grayshirted in the fall), RB Chris Butler, DB Tyler Jones .... there are a couple of others, but that's who I can remember off the top of my head. DE Jordan Johnson was extremely impressive in the fall, but has missed spring workouts with a foot injury.

Thanks for the report. Sounds like Justin Smart also is showing his potential on the field this spring at DE as Coach Bennett apparently thinks alot of his potential.
