SMU receiver Bobby Chase, the mustang's offensive MVP in 2004 and 05', said he will sign a one-year deal with a one- year option with Montreal Alouettes.

"I think it's a really good move for me,'said Chase, who watched Wednesday"s UTA workout from the sideline."I didn't have the senior season I had hoped, and neither did the team. The NFL is skeptical about my speed, so I think I have a better shot at NFL going this route"

We'll miss Bobby and want to wish him the best
of luck in his professional career.

It was fun watching him mature as a player at SMU.

His game winning catch against UAB will be one
of the greatest in SMU history.
