I am a Mustang Club member & have SMU & Mavs season tickets.
Moody Madness.
Same fan base.
Coach Doh goes to some Mavs games.
Q Ross plays against the Mavs a few times a year.
Coach Doh once coached at Notre Dame, just like former Mavs coach John McLeod.
I heard Mark Cuban may or may not donate $$ to the Bush Library cause.
...how's that?

With Doh here we will get players that are drafted on a regular basis. Hence this is a relevant topic.

I heard from his brother's teacher's daughter's friend's cousin that Brian Hopkins is being considered for playing with the Mavs...or maybe it was just that he was going to a game.
"He was quoting the Bible, Revelations. 'Behold the pale horse.' The man who 'sat on him was Death... and Hell followed with him.'"

Since neither the mavs or Rockets are going anywhere with their present lineups maybe they can work out some trades. Yao-man in Dallas would be a good start. Dirt for Yao-man?

Avery could suit up. Or they could get BHop out of the Ukraine.

There is talk about Avery going to the Rockets. I don't think it will happen but it is a rumor being floated about.
BHop alas I don't think so unless he miraculously becomes the player he was in HS--the guy who was lightning quick and could jump out of the building..

Remember the last rumor you tossed up on this board? Your sources suck.

I don't think it's a rumor that could be dismissed, to be honest. Considering that his family lives in Houston, I think it could be a very realistic possibility. Of course, that's assuming that VanGundy is going, which I think is all but a done deal.

The Avery-to-Houston rumor is real, but just because there's speculation out there doesn't mean he wants to leave, or that Cuban will let him out of his contract.
Then again, I saw Cuban yesterday, and he sure looked angry about something. Left him alone, though.

I don't think you'll catch him in any good moods for a while PF

Cuban is a moody little b***ch. He's seriously giving Nellie the shaft on some money he owes him.. this coming from people that actually work in the front office.
Avery isn't leaving..
And please don't bring Jason "most definitely" Kidd back. I'll tell you who wanted to be here prior to Miami.. was Shack. He loves Dallas and I still think he'll end up here somehow.
I would dump Stack, George, Buckner..
The trade for DJ was alot more attractive before he blew out his knee this year
Develop Mo Ager, keep Howard.. his game still will get better..
I'm 50/50 on Terry.. would love to have gotten Michael Redd.. but they locked him up when the Mavs went after him last year.
As for the agressive forward.. would love to see Chris Bosh come home.. he's fun to watch.. but that's not going to happen.
Still think a straight-up KG for Dirk would be great
What we obtain too cheap.. we esteem too lightly. It is persistence alone that gives everything its value.

The last time and Mav's dumped players didn't a fellow named Nash get unloaded onto the unsuspecting Phoenix Suns. How did that work out for you.? I'd take a trade of Novitsky for Brendan Haywood and the rights to one of the Europeans not yet under contract for the Wizards. But then again, I'm a Wizards fan.
