Crum Facility on Solid GroundI noticed about half of the foundation had been poured in the new Crum practice facility. You can also see where the tunnel will connect to Moody. It is really starting to take shape. University Gardens is almost down and the Morrison-Bell Garage is making steady progress. Some big campus activity was going on over at the sand volleyball courts... that whole area of campus is going to be first class.
i wonder what part i payed for

The amount of construction going on all over campus now is pretty much unbelieveable. There's the Crum facility, new parking garage, demolishing all the apartments for the library, renovating Shuttles, the renovation of Boaz next year, planning on consturcting another building in the Engineering quad. Suffice to say, there's plenty of activity going on.
![]() Can anyone post pictures for us out-of-towners? BTW, I don't see any Webcams any more on the SMU.edu site. Pony Up
Nope. They are going to make it green space. They are [supposedly] renovating and expanding Caruth Hall though. It's going to be L-shaped. Due to ADA stuff, they have to bring it into compliance when they do renovation, so that will require an elevator and things. Sir, shooting-star, sir.

Green space? Seriously? F*** that. But that's just my shallow opinion.
Thanks. Appreciate the offer. ![]() Pony Up
I doubt SMU could get the funding for a 3rd new engineering building any time soon. They didn't get as much as they want for Junkins and had to downsize it, they just built the Embrey building, there isn't much engineering money left I'm sure.
When Embrey died, if I remember correctly he left 90 bagillion dollars to the SoE.
