Yes I believe in one of those places the population can actually read the tabloids being written.

Shades of the expert observations of Vince Young on this board.

Yes, and because of your vast "wisdom'' in recruiting you knew Young was going to be better than Reggie McNeal....because, well, you just knew.

Speaking of great HS quarterbacks who have done but waste everybody's time at the collegiate level...

Anyone see where the "great" Ryan Perriloux at LSU -- who switched from Texas -- has been indefinitely suspended from the team because he tried to get into a casino somewhere in La.?

Again, the sense of entitlement among these talented young men is revolting. Sure he was behind Jamarcus Russell and Matt Flynn but the kid has been nothing but a headcase.

damn underaged drinker. Throw the damn book at him. Can't even beat out the No. 1 Player in the NFL Draft. What a loser. Don't you think you are going just a little bit overboard?

Dude, all I'm saying is that he's carried this attitude ever since he senior year in high school. Sure, he could pan out to be the next coming. But when you things like this happening, it just sends out some red flags that he is not a quality character guys. And those guys usually don't live up to their billing.

He tried to get into a place underage where there is alcohol and fun. Gee I've only done that...over a dozen times this year alone. Serious, serious character flaws.

Help me understand. Because if you were on an athletic scholarship, you would know that you are held to different standards than the general student population. Under a different microscope. Think the fans at LSU were giddy when this happened?

Alright, this has been eating at me long enough. Can someone tell me if Mitch is related to Dave?

When he committed to Texas, Perilloux announced he planed to take Young's starting position because he could "make some throws Young couldn't." Said the exact same thing about Russell when he switched his commitment to LSU. Sure, he has a monster ego, but I strongly suspect that's largely the result of people (parents? coaches? etc.) telling him from a young age "you're special, you're better than everyone else." Hear that long enough — especially at a young age — and you're likely to start believing it to some degree.

I believe Dave spells his last name Mustaine.
