SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.

DUH...of course he did and he is doing great in 1-AA. More power to him, but so what? I was never that impressed with what he did here in Div. 1-A. It seemed to me that half his passes were into the ground or behind his recievers. More importantly, he was more concerned about himself and his stats than the team. That's why he left. So what's the point of bringing up what he is doing in 1-AA?? He wasn't doing it here when he was here.
