The guys played their hearts out Saturday night. They easily could have folded up and quit when they got behind, but they kept fighting and almost rallied to tie the score.

As much as we're all disappointed about the team's record, I can not remember a team with more heart and intestinal fortitude. These players make us as proud as any I've seen in all my years watching the Mustangs.

Keep up the hard work, guys -- it WILL pay off. We're behind you 100 percent.

I couldn't agree more, I know it is a frustrating season for the alumni, fans, and especially the players. It is a killer, but I can't help but feel the worse for the players. I've said it before, and I'll say it again, I KNOW these guys are busting their butts, with everything they have. Yes, they may not be National Champ stuff, but I respect them every bit as much, because of all the B.S. and bad breaks they are having to endure.
They showed GREAT character in the Houston game and the Hawaii game by fighting back, and not quitting when it looked useless. They are going to WIN, maybe only a few this year, but I think they'll win plenty next year, and the year after.
