Who cares. That was the most boring series ever. I think I watched about 15 minutes, maybe. Spurs are weak. Phx got unlucky.

Finley, good for him though.

Agreed. Yawner of a series. Argument could be made that Robert Horry won the title for them again, although this time it was a shot with his hip (that prompted the Suns to leave the bench in defense of Nash .... thereby rendering them undermanned) and not his outside jumper. Duncan is amazing, of course, but the rest of that team helps me stay off the Tylenol PM and Nyquil and Bombay Sapphire cocktails.

The NBA is a complete waste a time. Didn't watch any of the playoffs. Could have cared less what happened to the Mavericks. The NBA is off my radar now and forever.

My happiest moment is knowing their god-forsaken season is over. Crappy, crappy, crappy sport.

The sport of basketball is still great. It's the NBA that's awful.
Too bad the NHL doesn't have a real TV contract - that's still the best postseason on TV.

Agreed. Basketball is a great game -- at the high school and college level.

Patton and Corso are both right. I could care less about the NBA. It's just a bunch of showboats trying to make each game a one man show. I watched 10 minutes of the finals and almost fell asleep. The Cleveland fans had no emotion. The most emotion I saw out of the entire playoffs belonged to the Golden State fans.

College is so much more pure, exciting, and team oriented. I love the excitment of the conference and national tournaments. Nothing tops that. I am glad the NBA season is done so now I can focus on my two favorite sports....football and baseball.

Congrats to the Spurs though.

Thanks for the update. Didn't realize there was an NBA championship.

And the other unwatched finals, Anaheim beat Ottawa for the Stanley Cup. First west coast winner of the cup since the Vancouver team won it in like 1918.

Agreed 100%. The NBA is getting closer to professional wrestling, and further from actual basketball and they are becoming unwatchable for anyone who actually appreciates real basketball.

Hell no.
College only.

The NHL finals, for those who have 614 channels, was actually exceedingly entertaining stuff.

Good gawd, how long until 2-a-days??????????????
