The general needs a nap.
Rommel was a hack. It was easy when he had air cover and miles of desert to see the enemy coming.

I admit, I don't like Phire's handle either. Of course, I made a drunken [deleted] out of myself expressing my opinion to get rid of Rossley once (before the internet and email). So I guess I should just shut up.

For the record, I was wrong then, and PhirePhil is wrong now. I think Orsini is pretty plugged in on the issue. Let him handle it.

I think, for now, 12-0 is where we want to be. Let's focus on that.

BOWL.

I wonder...will this year's team be better than last year's or just at quarterback with Willis having one years experience?

I have no problem with you. I find you to be very engaging and you have some pretty good one-liners. But this is a board where opinions are expressed, and I will go after those whose agendas are pretty transparent.

He calls me mindless. What's goofy is his handle. Ridiculous.

And the by the way, Patton was one of the best field commanders this country has ever seen in its history -- next to George Washington and William Tecumseh Sherman. Ask the Italians and the Third Reich how it worked out for them when he whipped their a$$e$ from north Africa, through Sicily and into Europe.

And he was right about going after the Soviets too before Washington DC stepped in and decided to continue to dance with the devil.

Rommel, you magnificent X$%^&X, I read your book!!

Isn't your jeep due to flip?

I find it interesting how this "fan" has so eloquently defending his position. That's because he can't or he won't. Because he cheers for failure all in the name of his handle.

What a fraud!

I think I have defended myself well.

CJ-5s flip easy, so watch out.

You've defended crap. And if you want to get all excited about the fact that Patton died about 2 weeks after he was in a car accident, then you are even more sick of individual that your handle suggest.

And you know what, he was buried with his soldiers because that defined his character -- something you wouldn't know about.

You take great pride in the absolute failure of others.

I challenge you to post something that would even be remotely favorable about the program. But then you would have to let your guard down.

I think you can do a search and find PLENTY of positive comments from me.

ex:
1. Ford Stadium is cool
2. I like Orsini a LOT...I think he likes me a LOT, too. Can't wait for our next hire as Head Football coach...it's coming soon!!
3. I am a Rhona Rompola fan (But she hasn't done squat in 5 years)
4. I thought Doh was a great hire.
5. I like the new 'old' SMU logo

She married Dement. Does that count for something?

Pretty short list. We agree on Orsini. But even in this list you cannot resist to take another shot at your mancrush Bennett.

And of course, there is not ONE single element of this football team that you mentioned.

And finding plenty of positive comments from you would be like finding the holy grail.

Indeed.
