Of course.

Put him on your team of quitters, you shouldn't have to beg someone to play Div I football, Carrington never played half as good as he looked in his uniform

So...how many All Conference teams have you made? How many years have you played Division 1 college football? Yes fan means fanatic but unless you've put in your time your stepping way outside the lines to pass judgement on an individual who has given 5 years of his life to THIS school.

Wonder why after 5 years of service to this university a stand up young man like reggie can't decide to go a different direction in life without him and the coach being blasted. Thanks reggie for all you've done and given!

I agree with that. From a selfish standpoint, I wish he had not made this decision, but he did and I wish him the best. 5 years of college football is a good stint.

I think for me it's disappointment, and less with Carrington and more with the fact that it appears (at least to some of us) that his leaving upsets the apple cart. For others, it doesn't appear that way. Either way, since this is the SOP for a fan forum, we reserve the right to whine about it.

This isn't the real world...at least most of the time. We may share rather blunt feelings and opinions, but Carrington doesn't (and shouldn't) care one iota about it.

I, for one, hope he returns. If not, good luck. But it would still be good to have a 6-2 240 lb 23-24 year old anchoring the LB corp, whether he is clear-headed or not, IMHO. 8)

I had a quick chat with Pete Fleps over at the Lloyd Center on Thursday. He said he was told that he should definitely figure in the mix as far as battling for playing time in Carrington's old position.

He looks like he's added about 15 pounds of muscle. You'll like this kid. Hard hitter. Hard worker.

Pete's got a good name for a linebacker as did Reggie. You wouldn't want a Norman Smithers or an Austin LeCour.

Actually, the perfect LB name is Zack Sledge. Too bad he's a wideout.
