So far, the WAC is 7-11 versus non-WAC opponents. Should we have expected more at this point?
Most impressive win: Fresno over Oregon State (nice comeback)
Most disappointing loss: Cal Poly over UTEP (yikes!)
Closest coulda' been: Nevada losing a squeaker to Oregon
We could seriously use a top-25 victory. Hawaii vs. USC? Fresno vs OU? Hmm, it'll be tough to impossible.

Boy, you do have to respect Fresno's OOC schedule year after year. Pat Hill is not kidding when he says they will play anyone, anywhere.

That kind of scheduling is what got Fla State where they are today. That was a sorry program once upon a time. Of course, I remember thrashing Va Tech, Wake Forest, Oregon St, etc...in my years on the Hilltop. Things do change, and that's what gives me eternal hope for our program.

Re: The overall WAC record
The first weekend, the WAC was mostly on the road:
Fresno AT Tenn (SEC)
SJSU at Florida (SEC)
SMU at Tech (B12)
Rice houston doesn't matter
UTEP at Zona (PAC10)
Get the picture?? WAC having to play BCS at the BCS? Of course you are going to lose more than most...not that any of these schools except Fresno MIGHT have won, but this is the history of BCS vs non-BCS...
vs
MIAMI at LaTech (well it was MIAMI!)
ASU at Hawaii
Fresno AT Tenn (SEC)

SMU at Tech (B12)

UTEP at Zona (PAC10)
