The post I made was how I see the North Texas developing. I am sure
all North Texas fans are in agreement. As far as the pony fans, you
must admit that you see the same success building for North Texas!
Coach Dodge already has 9 commitments, 4 listed in DCTF top 20
players for respective positions, for the 2008 class.
I beleive many of the pony fans are frustrated with the current status
of the football program right now. Bennet is a good coach, and has
recruited good players the last couple of years. I beleive this year will
be a good year for the ponys. I do hope you guys beat the red raiders!
Just will make the North Texas win over the pony's even better!

i was one of only 400 or so smu folks that went to denton last year. people from smu could care less about the greenies, sad but true. it's a no win for smu, if we win, people say so what, it's only nts. if we lose......it's a disaster in perception. why is it soooooo very important to the greenies, what smu thinks of you? who cares?

I was there too, unfortunately. SMU will care this year for revenge and will care more when NT improves, and we all know they will. I'm sure the TCU guys had the same thoughts you are having a few years ago when they were in BCS talk and we were cellar-dwellers in the WAC. I say bring it on.

I expect us to smack down these upstarts this fall. I suspect Mr. Orsini does as well. This is not a game for the Ponies to take lightly. Last year, Bennett kept Willis on a tight leash, I don't expect us to do that this year and we will take care of bidness, and then the stars will realign, global warming will stop, peace will reign on earth, and my Chinese made tv won't short out after 15 minutes.
