I wish there was a report about tickets sold and turnstile count
Wow, Texas topping out at 110% of capacity - the highest in the nation. I guess those stadium upgrades are coming at the right time.

Location ![]() ![]() ![]() Longhorns are Austin's pro team in all sports. Doak Walker himself upgraded the Cotton Bowl to 75k with the bench seats back when SMU / Dallas was in a similar situation in the late 40s. Slaughter a Whorn, bring Austin Wranglers NFL football to Austin. ![]()
SMU at 108SMU was 108th place in average attendance. UNT was 107th. Rice finished below us. TCU had twice our average. The Tech game will help our average this year. Maybe the UNT game will sell a few tickets to see Dodgeball. Anybody know how many season tickets have been sold to datre?

Riiiiiight. No one's going to pay attention to UT football if a pro team comes to town. *giggles* ![]() Official Cult of Chris Phillips Member
TCU has had about 8 years of winning soild seaons which translate into a fan base. It doesn't hurt when they play teams like Texas Tech, BYU and AFA at home which travel well. Let' just beat them and bring our usual 2,000 fans. BTW Marshall fans have reported that SMU sold more tickets there than any other school in CUSA.
I can't remember the last time there were as many as 500 SMU fans at a game in Fort Worth -- much less 2,000.

Ft. Worst or Huntington? It is obvious where most of us have decided to watch an away game.
