#10 in CUSA FB recruiting for 2007

So much for signing "10" Area 100s...

(FYI, that's what you call "SPIN")

You're what we call someone who is an advocate for this program's failure. And the interesting thing is that you have never really defended that position.

You say you want a 12-0 season. You don't mean it.

Sergeant Pepper says "Man, if coach just put me the in the game in the 4th quarter, we would have won, and I'd be playing pro ball now..."

Tsk, tsk. He just cannot face reality...

I guess you bought that crap that we signed 10 area 100s as something positive...that's nice, but I'd rather sign 6 area 100s, and 5 Houston 100s, and 2 Austin 50s, 4 East Texas 50s, etc...which in your book would be worse, since you think 10 Dallas area 100s > 6 Dallas area 100s

Recruiting DFW Area Top 100s is not necessaily the sign of a great recruiting class unless they come from the higher recruited players. Just takes an ounce of logic that if he barely makes the DFW Area Top 100 he probably isn't even among the Top 250 in Texas which might be the level of the Bottom 1/3. If he got a lot of good offers then it means more than Area Top 100-only SMU and maybe NTSU fans get excited about that. Big Deal. Area Top 100 Lists also are generally preseason lists that often miss late blommers and late risers. That being said SMU did show some improvement late in the recruiting season in getting some quality DFW recruits.

Your honor, the charges are unclear on their face. Move to quash the indictment.

I'm just glad we finally made the top ten in something.

Excuse me, sir. That would be two top tens in one week. We were also #9 on USA Today's prestigious "Top 25 Sports Scandals of the Past 25 Years" list. Top 10 is becoming routine for us. And to think, all Orsini was shooting for is top 25 in everything we do. We are blowing that right out of the water here recently. 8)

10) Gary Patterson, TCU: Does anyone get less credit for running a consistently successful program than this guy? Since 2002, the Horned Frogs have posted records of 10-2, 11-2, 11-1 and 11-2 (wedged around a 5-6 aberration) and beaten the likes of Oklahoma and Texas Tech.

Take it easy there, Stal .... you're going to ruin PPB's day.

That being said - I know we don't always agree on some things, but you're absolutely right on this one.

We are blowing it way out of the water. We made #5 here.

5. SMU. An old-school classic. Received the death penalty. Harkens back to a time when the NCAA had testicles and did not pucker up to the derrières of fat-cat college presidents. Those were the days, when men were men and cheaters took great pride in their work. Cash payments distributed in a timely fashion, luxury cars handed out like heads of lettuce, players bought and paid for. Made you proud to be an American.

Hard to see why so many SMU alums do not want us to run our football program like TCU does - 5 years and 48 wins while PB has 41 losses in 5 years............

Sure, I'm a homer, but I would have put SMU at #8 of 12 in the CUSA for last year.

I have Tulsa, Rice, UAB and Tulane behind us on the list. I would imagine that Street and Smith puts Tulsa ahead, but which other School did they bump? Rice?

Of course I'm just going off of Rivals. I have no idea how Street and Smith ranked everyone.
