Speaking of travel plans....
Any suggestions on where to fly into for the SMU/Southern Miss game on Saturday Oct 13th?
I suppose New Orleans is most practical?
Can one fly into Biloxi or Gulfport?
Resorts or nice hotels in Hattiesburg?

I think Hattiesburg is about 110 miles from New Orleans. Not a bad drive.

You can fly into Gulfport/Biloxi on American Eagle and you have the casinos. It's a very easy drive from New Orleans as well. It will be more fun if BigHorse is drinking beer again!

That's my plan. Make some reservations now, though, because the casinos are already booked
I think it's about a hundred mile drive from Hattiesburg to the GPT airport. I was starting to feel left out with all the Jonesboro talk. Last spring I decided the most 'entertaining' away game (i.e. one that lends itself to possibly going to New Orleans, definitely going to the casinos, definitely drinking) was Hattiesburg.

Not if you have to ride in the car with BIGHORSE. He might be a Big Horse, but he's got a bladder the size of a black-eyed pea. He is the only guy I know that can turn the 4 hour road trip to Tulsa into a 6 hour drive!
Nevertheless, he is still the biggest Mustang fan I know and I will always be honored to road trip with him.

PonySoprano, you also are a great mustang fan, and I would
be honored to roadtrip with you again, but I will wear my
depends next time.

Is the old "BIGHORSE" back this year?

The BIGHORSE that has always been passionate about
the stangs is still alive and kicking and ready the season
to kickoff.
