Justin Rogers, Patriots reach agreement

Postby PonyPride » Tue Jul 17, 2007 3:03 pm

From boston.com:

ROGERS AGREES TO TERMS: The Patriots continue to make progress in locking up their draft picks. Sixth-rounder Justin Rogers, a defensive end who is being converted to outside linebacker, agreed to terms today. The length and financial terms of the contract are not known.

(Thanks to DanFreiburgerForHeisman - a renowned Patriots geek - for the heads-up about Rogers.)

Nice. Good for him. I enjoyed watching him on Saturdays, I hope to get to see him excel on Sundays.

Patriots geek? OK - true...

Seriously though, I think Justin really has a shot. There's no way he's not at least on the practice squad.
