received the following from Gerry York with Heritage Hall today:

Heritage Hall Garage Sale

Heritage Hall will have a garage sale Saturday morning, July 28, beginning at 9:00 AM and ending at 1:00 AM. It will take place in the Lettermen's Room at Moody Coliseum. This is the northeast corner of Moody and there is parking on Binkley Ave.

This is NOT a sale of memorabilia. The sale is taking place in advance of the announcement that around Sept. 1, 2007 Heritage Hall will be going online to sell game DVD's and pictures. The game inventory will be posted around Sept. 1, 2007 along with the picture gallery. Over 1500 pictures have been scanned, primarily from the Laughead era, and you will be able to choose and order. You will be able to link from smumustangs.com.

The DVD's will be priced at $25.00 plus $2.00 postage. We are still negotiating the price of the pictures. All proceeds will go to Heritage Hall.
At the garage sale we will have a supply of the games listed below at a special price of $20.00 each before the price goes up on 9-1. If you get there, and a particular game has been sold out, we will accept your order for that game and mail it to you for the $20.00 price.

1. Toast To Doak Walker (Highlights)

2. 1948 Cotton Bowl SMU vs. Penn State (in color)

3. 1950 SMU win over Ohio State at Columbus (in color)

4. 1956 Final Four - DVD has games against Oklahoma City and San Francisco5. 1963 SMU win over Navy and Roger Staubach (highlights narrated by Coach Hayden Fry)

6. 1968 SMU win over Oklahoma in the Astro Bluebonnet Bowl (in color)

7. 1982 Season Highlights including the "Miracle Man's"
kickoff return against Tech and highlights of the Cotton Bowl game against Pitt (in color)
and last but not least we will have two audios only --

8. 1957 SMU win over St. Louis. This was the last home game in 1957 for Jim Krebs, Bobby Mills, Larry Showalter, and Bob McGregor. It was the third place game in the 1957 NCAA Regional at SMU Coliseum. The broadcast is done by Jack Buck on KMOX and sponsored by Budweiser. Buck was in the press box high up on the north side of the coliseum that is no longer used and holds the microphone out to hear Varsity and you won't believe the last 44 seconds when the seniors come out. The game is stopped for at least a minute with Peruna blasting in the background and the crowd going wild in honoring these guys for their three great years.

9. 1948 7-7 Tie With TCU in 1948. With TCU leading 7-0, and only 90 seconds left in the game, the Mustangs go 99 yards to tie the game on a pass from Gil Johnson to Zohn Milam. From here the Ponies head to a second straight Cotton Bowl and a big win over Norm Van Brocklin and the Oregon Ducks. The audio is for the fourth quarter only and is done by the legendary Bill Stern.

We hope to have players from some of these games there to autograph the DVD's.

In addition to the above there will be an assortment of other DVD's available. We will have about 100 duplicate programs available including one from the Rose Bowl as well as quite a few from the 40's.

There will also be pictures, books, wall posters, and a few surprises.

Hope to see you there.

I was informed shortly after the Heritage Hall Garage Sale that no items would be put up for sale on the Internet and that there would not be any further 'garage sales'.

With no source of memorabilia to buy at the garage sale and mark up for profit to sell on ebay, is that going to close down your store? I noted today you appear to be short of stock.

I have plenty of inventory via other sources. I am currently re-stocking the store. Thanks for looking!
