AP -- For those who thought that the Baylor athletic department was going to spend the year in shambles, think again. After two humiliating defeats at the hands of teacher's colleges and a school wide basketball scandal, sources report that the program has just signed Lil' Jim Jimmies to be the next Offensive Coordinator.
Despite his lack of coaching experience, his functional illiteracy, and tendency to drool, Jimmies is being held as a role model for the future of the Baylor program. Baylor alumni responded with immediate enthusiasm.
"Jimmies has never sold drugs or fired a gun...which is a nice change," remarked one BU Alumnus.
"I heard he is a 'good boy' and lives with his mother," remarked another. "Plus he has won the season three times using Baylor on his Playstation 2"
Jimmies will begin his self titled "PS2" offensive attack for this Saturday's game against SMU.
"I'm just happy to get him out of my house" remarked John Jimmies, Jim's father.
