I live in Fort Worthless (job), and trust me, Corey, you do NOT want to live here. You've made a decision you'll be proud of forever, and all of us PonyFans are glad to have you. Congratulations!

This is the kid is fantastic.. He will be much better than bobby chase.. This kid can do it all and he is a legit 6-4 6-5... big ole hands too.. I talked to him as much as I could at the SR day and he was already interested in coming here (that was 5 weeks ago).. Lets hope we can hold on to him, b/c he is going to get some call this fall when the big 12 coaches see him play.. Way to go Bennett bros.

If the rest of our class is anything like Beasely and Fuller, there is going to be some excitement coming to the Hilltop that I have never been old enough to experience.

Amazing that BOTH are rated 2 Stars, 5.2 by Rivals DESPITE the disparity in sizes! How can this be?

I read the Rivals writeup and it sounds like he loves the school, but is still keeping his options open. I am keeping my fingers crossed that he eventually signs the LOI, but will not fully celebrate until he does.

That is saying a lot. Bobby was a fantastic player who was simply overlooked last year by Willis. I'd take a Chase-type player all day.

What is takes is "bull$hit, experience and attitude."

We experienced Chase's attitude. Too bad he didn't run a 4.4.

New article in Rivals confirms my fears. Corey is not committed (he reiterates that his SMU commitment is only a soft commitment, which means to me that he is NOT committed) and he is very interested in what TCU has to offer. Texas is trying to horn in, but he does not think that he will consider them. He was, however, very impressed with TCU, its campus, and its business school. After reading the article, I would not be surprised if he ends up committing to TCU. Hope I'm wrong, but that's the way the article reads. :?

http://smu.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=694294[/quote].............I read the same article and came away thinking he is going to TCU unless something changes. I got the impression he might regret making a "soft" verbal to SMU after his more recent visit to TCU. I sure hope the Coaches stay in constant contact with this recruit. We need this guy. If he is interested in the Business School, SMU is a great place to go and we need to be able to ensure this recruit he made the right choice when he committed here.

We want you at SMU Corey! This is a place where you can get a great education, join an up and coming football program, and where all your fellow incoming recruits look up to you!
