Peveto looking for success at SMU

When former Marcus head football coach Randy Mayes arrived at Marcus, one of his first decisions was to move junior-to-be Caleb Peveto to offensive line full time.
Peveto didn’t let down the faith Mayes and his offensive line coaches Rory Durham and James Odoms had in him.
In the next two years he earned all-district honors and served as team captain his senior year. Peveto capped his career at Marcus by winning the football team’s most prestigious honor “Chad Tinsley Award.â€
“That had to be my biggest thrill in high school,†Peveto said. “It was really special, because of what that awards means as far as the kind of person Chad Tinsley. Winning the award told me how much people thought about me.â€
